Steven Polmans started his career after graduating in 1995 in aviation joining a European handling company and his since spent most of his career in the industry. After having held several operational and management position at different airports in handling, he joined Brussels Airport in 2010 as Cargo Marketing Manager and was appointed Head of Cargo and Logistics in 2012. In this position, he was responsible for developing and implementing the overall cargo strategy of the airport.
Steven was also the founding father and first chairman of Air Cargo Belgium, a newly established air cargo organisation at BRUcargo, grouping all stakeholders. On April 1st 2019, Steven was promoted to Director Cargo & Logistics, adding all responsibilities for cargo real estate development and portfolio management to its existing role.

He is actively working on projects related to Automation and New Technology Adoption to improve Productivity, Traceability and Response Time.
Saurabh was instrumental in starting the Hyderabad Chapter of ACFI and served as its first Chairman of the HYD chapter during 2019-2021. He is also the Chairman of the Logistics Committee of ‘Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI)’ and Board Member of ‘Air Cargo Forum India (ACFI)’. Through his active association with Industry bodies, Saurabh has contributed significantly in identifying challenges/bottlenecks and working with concerned authorities and ministries to mitigate the same.
Prior to his current role, Saurabh was the CEO of GMR Hyderabad Air Cargo Business from 2019-2021 and successfully led the business during the challenging Covid environment. Mr. Aulman has over 15 years of experience in aviation, having worked for NACO Netherlands Airport Consultants on consultancy and planning projects for major airport hubs such as Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, Changi and has been involved in planning for Indian airports from the onset of privatization in 2006. This involved air cargo planning and design projects for Delhi, Mumbai. Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Lucknow and Mangalore. As Director Business Development he actively pursues the decarbonization of aviation, through sustainable facility design and the inception and promotion of projects that explore the role of SAF-, Electric- and Hydrogen-powered aircraft-propulsion can have to make emission-free aviation possible, and their impact on airport infrastructure. Mr. Aulman has a Masters in Science (Arch) from Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands.
Mr. Sanjiv Edward is taking over as the Chief Executive Officer – Cargo and Logistics, GMR Group w.e.f. April 2023 responsible for handling Cargo business for Delhi, Hyderabad, Goa, etc. and all upcoming airports, in addition to continue to drive strategic projects for DIAL.
He has earlier served as Chief Commercial Officer – Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL), leading the Aeronautical and Aero-related business verticals of IGI Airport, responsible for developing and driving the strategy for these verticals by achieving sustained growth of Aeronautical revenues through various streams, such as Cargo, Land & Space, Concessions and Aeronautical services. His profile also included leading the Airlines marketing and Route development activities to enhance IGI Airports’ Air connectivity network.
Earlier to this role, Sanjiv was heading the Cargo business of DIAL, where he was responsible for successfully driving the Cargo Strategy and Development of the Cargo Master plan, making IGIA as the no 1 Cargo Airport in the country. He has been actively engaged with Government, Regulators and Industry for Policy formulation at various levels. Sanjiv is working closely with WCO, ICAO, WTO, TSA, UNCTAD. He currently also serves on the Board of ACFI, CELEBI, DAFFPL and DASPL.

Vipul Bhalla is the Chief Business Officer of Pradhaan Air Express, India’s youngest cargo Airline that operates the world’s first and only A 320 Freighter. He has been associated with the Air Freight Industry for over three decades. He started his career with a stint of 16 years with British Airways and Etihad Airway at Delhi, Chennai, Dubai and Abu Dhabi in Senior Management roles covering Customer Service, Revenue Management, Commercial Optimization and Field Sales with Regional and Worldwide sales responsibility covering more than 71 markets and managing teams generating more than $1 billion in freight revenues. His last role was with Oman Air Cargo responsible for the Indian Sub-continent, Europe and Global Key Accounts. He is a Science Graduate from the Delhi University.
Brian Hermesmeyer is Senior Director, Freighter Customer Leader, for Boeing. He is responsible for representing the customer to all Boeing freighter programs, as well as representing freighter programs to Boeing Sales & Marketing leadership. He also leads a multi-faceted team tasked with communicating the value of Boeing freighters to airlines, lessors and financiers around the world.
After joining Boeing in 1996, Hermesmeyer was a Material Review Board Engineer on the 747, 767 and 777 programs, where he supported manufacturing, flight testing and delivery of new airplanes. In 2001, he transitioned to supporting post-production modification programs, including leading on-site engineering teams for the Boeing 757-200SF freighter conversion program. This led to a role in 2005 as a Project Technical Integration Leader for all Boeing Converted Freighter programs, leading design requirement definition and engineering integration of the 747-400BCF, 767-300BCF and other product development studies.

He resigned as an Operational Systems Administrator at the end of 2008 and started his career in Turkish Airlines. After working for Revenue Management, he started his new position in Turkish Cargo as Logistics Manager. He was appointed as the Regional Director for Eastern Europe and Russia in 2011. He started in Dubai as the Regional Director for the Middle East in 2016 and is currently the Vice President for the Middle East and South Asia

He is a Recipient of “Great Manager award “2021 from Narayan Moorthy ( Founder Chairman of Infosys) winner among 5000 participants from various corporates organized by People Business School. He has a strong background in Cargo & Logistics working in companies Like FedEx and IndiGo where he has managed 20+ airports and had spear headed the chartered flight operation, his career expands over 23 years with several industries including fashion, banking and manufacturing apart from Cargo & Logistics. Zaheer strongly believes that learning is a continuous process of gaining knowledge and skills He is an MBA graduate , and completed few leadership courses from Harvard School of Business and Indian School of Business and is currently pursuing his Phd in Aviation.
Chandrakala Bobba is the Director of the Bobba Group, a 30-year-old Bengaluru-based logistics company that has operations in aviation and airport cargo terminal handling. Her futuristic vision has led to the opening of Bobba Logistics, a micro fulfilment warehousing centre – the first of many.
Chandrakala holds a Masters in Finance from London College of Economics and has been working with her family business since 2004. She has a rich experience working with airlines, GSA's, GHAs and cargo terminal handling at airport. As Director of Marketing & Sales, she focusses mainly on business development and strategy planning of upcoming ventures as well as expansion plans of the group.

Ramesh is an engineer with masters in transport planning and MBA from Bradford University. Ramesh has been in logistics industry for more than 30 years, out of which he spent more than 2 and half decades in air cargo logistics industry.
Ramesh spent more than one and half decades with Emirates Group in Dubai working across multiple functions and business units such as Dnata Cargo, Mercator and Emirates SkyCargo. In his stint with Emirates SkyCargo, he managed infrastructure development, global products development/ management and special products operations at the hub.

Reji John is a journalist with 25 years of experience in writing, reporting, editing and collating content across media – print (magazine & newspaper), television and online. Steven Polmans started his career after graduating in 1995 in aviation joining a European handling company and his since spent most of his career in the industry. After having held several operational and management position at different airports in handling, he joined Brussels Airport in 2010 as Cargo Marketing Manager and was appointed Head of Cargo and Logistics in 2012. In this position, he was responsible for developing and implementing the overall cargo strategy of the airport.
Steven was also the founding father and first chairman of Air Cargo Belgium, a newly established air cargo organisation at BRUcargo, grouping all stakeholders. On April 1st 2019, Steven was promoted to Director Cargo & Logistics, adding all responsibilities for cargo real estate development and portfolio management to its existing role.
Steven joined the board of TIACA, The International Air Cargo Association, in August 2016, and became Vice Chairman in October 2017. As of July 2019, Steven took over the role of Chairman at TIACA, a position he still holds today.

Chandrakala Bobba is the Director of the Bobba Group, a 30-year-old Bengaluru-based logistics company that has operations in aviation and airport cargo terminal handling. Her futuristic vision has led to the opening of Bobba Logistics, a micro fulfilment warehousing centre – the first of many.

Mr. Sanjiv Edward is taking over as the Chief Executive Officer – Cargo and Logistics, GMR Group w.e.f. April 2023 responsible for handling Cargo business for Delhi, Hyderabad, Goa, etc. and all upcoming airports, in addition to continue to drive strategic projects for DIAL.
He has earlier served as Chief Commercial Officer – Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL), leading the Aeronautical and Aero-related business verticals of IGI Airport, responsible for developing and driving the strategy for these verticals by achieving sustained growth of Aeronautical revenues through various streams, such as Cargo, Land & Space, Concessions and Aeronautical services. His profile also included leading the Airlines marketing and Route development activities to enhance IGI Airports’ Air connectivity network.
Earlier to this role, Sanjiv was heading the Cargo business of DIAL, where he was responsible for successfully driving the Cargo Strategy and Development of the Cargo Master plan, making IGIA as the no 1 Cargo Airport in the country. Brian Hermesmeyer is Senior Director, Freighter Customer Leader, for Boeing. He is responsible for representing the customer to all Boeing freighter programs, as well as representing freighter programs to Boeing Sales & Marketing leadership. He also leads a multi-faceted team tasked with communicating the value of Boeing freighters to airlines, lessors and financiers around the world.
After joining Boeing in 1996, Hermesmeyer was a Material Review Board Engineer on the 747, 767 and 777 programs, where he supported manufacturing, flight testing and delivery of new airplanes. In 2001, he transitioned to supporting post-production modification programs, including leading on-site engineering teams for the Boeing 757-200SF freighter conversion program. This led to a role in 2005 as a Project Technical Integration Leader for all Boeing Converted Freighter programs, leading design requirement definition and engineering integration of the 747-400BCF, 767-300BCF and other product development studies.
Glyn has been involved in Air Cargo for over 37 years having started his career with British Caledonian in the UK.
He joined IATA in 1991 and become IATA's Global Head of Cargo in June 2014, where he had overall responsibility to deliver the agenda agreed by the Cargo Committee to support the Air Cargo industry. In February 2021, Glyn joined TIACA as its first Director general where he will work with the Board to deliver the organization's vision for a safe, profitable and united air cargo industry that embraces modern technologies and practices to sustainably and fairly serve trade and social development worldwide. As part of his strategic focus, he is driving initiatives to expand the Cargo Terminal and its offerings to capitalize the opportunities from segments such as Pharma, Agri Products, Warehousing, Express & Allied Services. He is actively working on projects related to Automation and New Technology Adoption to improve Productivity, Traceability and Response Time.
Saurabh was instrumental in starting the Hyderabad Chapter of ACFI and served as its first Chairman of the HYD chapter during 2019-2021. He is also the Chairman of the Logistics Committee of ‘Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI)’ and Board Member of ‘Air Cargo Forum India (ACFI)’. Ramesh is an engineer with masters in transport planning and MBA from Bradford University. Ramesh has been in logistics industry for more than 30 years, out of which he spent more than 2 and half decades in air cargo logistics industry.
Ramesh spent more than one and half decades with Emirates Group in Dubai working across multiple functions and business units such as Dnata Cargo, Mercator and Emirates SkyCargo. In his stint with Emirates SkyCargo, he managed infrastructure development, global products development/ management and special products operations at the hub.
He was associated with Qatar Airways Group as the Head of QAS Cargo wherein he managed the transition of airport cargo operations from the old airport to the current airport in 2014.

Having over two decades’ experience as the Cargo Manager with various Airlines, Gautam Mandal has completed his Masters in Travel & Tourism Management with a specialization in Air Cargo. Also, he is an MBA, specializing in Information Technology. Gautam Mandal is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and an IATA Advanced Cargo Certificate holder. Currently, at Cargo Flash, he is responsible for marketing and pre-sales activities for various IT products of the company. With his sturdy visualization, excellent writing skills, and the ability to translate marketing ideas and design concepts across all organizational levels, Gautam Mandal is currently responsible for the R&D, Marketing and Business Development for Cargo Flash’s products.
Rita Panicker is the founder director of Butterflies, a registered voluntary organisation working with the most vulnerable groups of children, especially urban street connected and marginalised children and families since 1989. A Masters in Social Work from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai and Masters in Development Studies from International Institute of Social Studies, Netherlands, Rita was a faculty member in the Women’s Studies Unit, at Tata Institute of Social Sciences before founding Butterflies. She has published several papers on child rights issues and authored studies on Children and Crime in India (2018); Sexuality and Masculinity, Boys Perspectives (2019); Children of Islands (2021). She also worked with the Ministry of Women & Child Development, Government of India to develop guidelines on Assessment, Selection & Monitoring Tool for Foster Care in India and a Reader on Raising Children to Resist Violence. She was one of the founder members of Family for Every Child UK, a global alliance of local Civil Society Organizations and is currently a Trustee on its board. She was also a member of the Governing Board of CHILDLINE India Foundation, under the Ministry of Women & Child Development, Government of India.
Mr. Kamesh is a highly seasoned professional with over 31 years of senior leadership experience in the Aviation industry in different geographies spanning South Asia, Middle East, Europe, Africa and North America. He currently works as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Celebi Delhi Cargo Terminal Management India Pvt. Ltd.
His former experience has been with reputable organizations like Lufthansa Cargo AG & Menzies Aviation and as a Consultant for large clients in Aviation business, providing advisory, strategy & implementation.
He is a graduate from Delhi University in Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) and holds MBA degree from Ashridge Executive Education, Hult International Business School, UK.
He has strong hands on experience in every aspect of cargo business including strategic planning, project management, business development, marketing & sales execution and finance.
Raveen Pinto is the Vice President – Aviation Business at BIAL. He has over 33 Years of experience in aviation space both with the airline and the airport sectors.
In his role at BIAL, Raveen Pinto leads the Aviation Business portfolio focusing on (i) Route development; (ii) Passenger and Cargo business development; (iii) concessionaires management.
Prior to joining BIAL, Raveen Pinto was with GVK Airports as Vice President – Aero Commercial at Mumbai airport (2015-2018), GMR Airports Ltd as Head – Aero Commercial at Hyderabad airport (2007-2015) and with Lufthansa German Airlines as General Manager – Sales and Marketing, Western, Central & South India based at Mumbai (1986-2007)
Steven Polmans started his career after graduating in 1995 in aviation joining a European handling company and his since spent most of his career in the industry. After having held several operational and management position at different airports in handling, he joined Brussels Airport in 2010 as Cargo Marketing Manager and was appointed Head of Cargo and Logistics in 2012. In this position, he was responsible for developing and implementing the overall cargo strategy of the airport.
Steven was also the founding father and first chairman of Air Cargo Belgium, a newly established air cargo organisation at BRUcargo, grouping all stakeholders. On April 1st 2019, Steven was promoted to Director Cargo & Logistics, adding all responsibilities for cargo real estate development and portfolio management to its existing role.
Steven joined the board of TIACA, The International Air Cargo Association, in August 2016, and became Vice Chairman in October 2017. As of July 2019, Steven took over the role of Chairman at TIACA, a position he still holds today.
In January 2021, Steven moved on and joined Nallian as their Chief Customer Officer, a data sharing company building amongst others the innovative BRUcloud platform. In February 2022, Steven became VP at Abu Dhabi Airport Company to realise the cargo ambitions and growth set by the airport.

He has worked in various renowned organizations such as Accelya, IBS, Blue Yonder, and Accenture, focusing on Cargo Management products. Mark Sutch is IndiGo’s new Chief Commercial Officer – CarGo International, effective March 01, 2023. Mark brings with him 25 years of airline industry experience across different verticals, including extensive cargo experience. Mark’s most recent assignment was as Chief Commercial Officer with CMA CGM Air Cargo based in Marseille. Prior to that he was with Cathay Pacific Airways including being based for 5 years in Mumbai as the airline’s regional general manager for South Asia, Middle East and Africa. He also previously ran all commercial aspects of Cathay Pacific’s cargo division in their Hong Kong head office. Mark is a British and Irish national and has spent most of his career on international assignments.

He started working as a Business Development specialist in Marport Terminal Operators S.A. in Istanbul port in 2005. He resigned as an Operational Systems Administrator at the end of 2008 and started his career in Turkish Airlines. After working for Revenue Management, he started his new position in Turkish Cargo as Logistics Manager. He was appointed as the Regional Director for Eastern Europe and Russia in 2011. He started in Dubai as the Regional Director for the Middle East in 2016 and is currently the Vice President for the Middle East and South Asia
