Ms. Cissy Chan was appointed as Executive Director, Commercial of Airport Authority Hong Kong in September 2012. Ms. Chan oversees the commercial development and land and property portfolio of Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA). She is responsible for developing and implementing commercial strategies, which spans retail, advertising, land and property and aviation logistics including air cargo development. Ms. Chan is the Chairman of Dongguan HKIA Logistics Park Investment (Dongguan) Co., Ltd.

Ms. Chan has a wealth of general management experience gained from local and multinational organizations, particularly in partnership development, negotiation and managing commercial alliances. Before joining the Airport Authority, Ms. Chan was the Director, Retail Portfolio & Marketing at Hysan Development Company Ltd. Prior to that, she held senior positions in multi-national companies including Reckitt Benckiser (Hong Kong / Taiwan) and Johnson & Johnson Hong Kong.

Ms. Chan is a member of the Advisory Board of The Chinese University of Hong Kong MBA Programs. She also served as a member of the Hong Kong Housing Authority and Chairman of its Audit Sub-committee.

Philip Autekie holds a master's degree in Transport Management and Engineering from Delft University of Technology. His career includes leadership roles in logistics management at PSA, DHL, and Bridgestone. Since 2012, he has contributed to key strategic projects at Brussels Airport Company, focusing on airport Master planning and development since 2023. As an aviation enthusiast and travel lover, he is passionate about innovation in the industry. He lives in a rural area west of Antwerp with his wife, two daughters, and two dogs, enjoying a fulfilling balance between his career and family life.

Experienced Manager Process Management with a demonstrated history of working in the airlines/aviation industry. Skilled in Operations Management, Airports, Commercial Aviation, Dutch, and Aviation Security. Strong military and protective services professional graduated from University of Amsterdam.

Udi Bechor started his career in Aviation Security in 1988.
Joining ICTS Europe, a worldwide solution provider and trusted partner present in 26 countries, over 100 Airports, and dozens of Airlines for all security needs.
Mr. Bechor serves as an EVP for business development and global products, including some of the company's strong foundations in technology and innovation.
One significant innovation is a data-driven biosensor for detecting undeclared lithium and hazardous materials, which are increasing global threats to cargo safety.
This groundbreaking system embraces modern technologies and practices, combining advanced bio-sensing technology with AI analytics to redefine safety standards worldwide.

Rogier Blocq holds the position of Chief Product Officer at WorldACD, the world’s largest and most detailed air cargo database. In this role he is responsible for the continuous improvement and innovation of WorldACD’s data product offering, and supporting the company’s broad customer base (airlines, forwarders, airports, GSAs, shippers) to optimize their usage of WorldACD’s market intelligence.

Prior to this role, Rogier worked for 20 years at Air France KLM, with international experience at various departments, including Network Planning and Pricing & Revenue Management.

Rogier earned his Master’s degree in Business Econometrics at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam.

Francine Carron is an internationally recognized leader in ESG (Environmental, Social, and
Governance) strategy, with over 20 years of experience advising hard-to-abate sectors
including aviation, logistics, and manufacturing. As the Founder and CEO of ESG
Consultancy, she has spearheaded impactful sustainability initiatives for global clients
including Toyota Material Handling, The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA), and
leading Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs) across Europe and Canada.
A driving force behind aviation’s sustainable transformation, Francine specializes in carbon
foot printing, EU regulation, biodiversity integration, and the decarbonization of aviation
infrastructure. She is a trusted guide for ANSPs navigating CANSO’s Green ATM program
and a lead assessor for TIACA’s BlueSky Program, supporting air cargo actors in raising their
ESG maturity.
In 2026, Francine will open a regional ESG office in South China, positioning her consultancy
at the heart of Asia’s fast-evolving aviation and sustainability landscape. With this expansion,
she invites industry stakeholders across the region to co-develop bold ESG strategies and
future-proof their operations.
Through her global consulting, thought leadership, and cross-sector insight from the UN to
aerospace- Francine Carron has become a catalyst for ESG in aviation. If your organization is

Mr. Cheung is Director – Asia & Middle East, of Charles Kendall Freight Limited. Since graduation from HKUST, Keno joined the current UK based forwarder, Charles Kendall Freight Limited for 21 years. He was promoted to General Manager, Far East in 2011 and further promoted to Director, Far East in 2013. In 2015, he was elected to the UK main board as a director. In 2019, he was assigned with the additional management responsibility for the Middle East region. He is now managing 10 branches and 5 registered companies or subsidiaries in China, Hong Kong, Vietnam and UAE. In 2024, Mr. Cheung was awarded the Hong Kong's NextGen Logistician Young Executive Award.

Keno joined CILT in 2010. He has been actively in committee works, such as Young Members Committee/ Young Professionals Committee (now renamed as Next Generation Committee), Logistics Policy Committee. He was elected the CILTHK Young Achiever in 2013 and was ‘Commended in the International Young Achiever of Year 2014’. Keno was successfully upgraded to FCILT in 2020. He served as Vice President of CILTHK from 2022 to 2024 and is also the Chairperson of the CILTHK Logistics Policy Committee from 2020 to 2024.

Anindam brings over 25 years of expertise in aviation, cargo, and commercial strategy, with leadership roles at Jet Airways and the Hong Kong Tourism Board, driving sales and operations across Australasia and the Middle East. Currently at TAM Group alongside the Senior VP Commercial, Anindam spearheads passenger and cargo sales, marketing, and market expansion. His deep understanding of air cargo dynamics, coupled with insights into e-commerce-driven demand shifts, positions him as a key voice on how digital commerce is reshaping air freight logistics. Anindam’s strategic vision highlights the evolving interplay between e-commerce growth and air cargo’s operational and commercial future.

Winnie Chua leads Climate Solutions Sales in Asia, specializing in carbon credits, Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs), and climate advisory services. Her career journey transitioned from delivering energy transition information solutions to focusing on climate and carbon markets.

Driven by a recognition of the complexities and knowledge gaps in sustainability—both within the industry and herself—Winnie pursued professional development in Corporate and Environmental Sustainability as well as Carbon Markets through programs at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.

With extensive experience serving the aviation industry on matters related to conventional jet fuel and Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), Winnie understands the critical role of high-quality, credible carbon solutions. She advocates for a holistic approach—combining SAF, value-chain sustainability, carbon in setting, and robust carbon credits—as essential to helping aviation achieve its Net-Zero targets.

Progressing the company with a pragmatic approach, Jasraj Chug has been leading Cargo Flash towards a digitized future for the Air Cargo Logistics Eco System. His Vision is to see Air Cargo business operating seamlessly connected to the Internet devices pushing for Algorithm led action on the foundation of real time data feed from such an Eco System. His extensive experience of near 30 years in the Aviation and Logistics Freight and Customs broking helps him to understand the constraints to find workable solution for all the stakeholders

Mr Chug’s experience in the airline industry, both Passenger and Cargo, has contributed to the success of Group Concorde and his vision for digitizing the Air Cargo industry has entrusted his full time to the plan growth and success of Cargo Flash.

Since 2017, Moritz Claussen has been Founder and Co-CEO of cargo.one, steering the company’s global sales functions, marketing, customer support and airline partnerships.
Prior to cargo.one, Mr Claussen has earned over a decade of commercial experience. He previously co-founded and managed the financial technology company OptioPay, as its Chief Business Officer, in charge of operations and business development.
In previous years, he was Co-Founder and Manager Director of retail trading platform Onjo, and was Business Incubator and Entrepreneur-In-Residence for a Gibraltar-based technology incubator. He held further roles at A.T. Kearney management consulting, Deutsche Bank and Beiersdorf.
Originally from Germany, Moritz Claussen has lived, studied and worked across the globe in countries including Canada, China, Gibraltar and Spain.
Moritz Claussen is a well-known voice on the digitalization of air cargo, and frequent author and speaker for industry publications and events.

For over seven years, Kai Domscheit has been a young, passionate and noteworthy leader in Europe’s leading air cargo hub located in Frankfurt airport, Germany. You may know him from his work as CEO at CHI Deutschland Cargo Handling GmbH, but Kai can also be credited with contributions to exponentially grow and transform the company’s group revenue from 20 million€ to well over 150 million€ in less than seven years, making it the largest ground handler by tonnage in FRA three years in a row. He has been recognized by his disruptive hands-on management style without being afraid to take calculated risk. Kai is responsible for the group’s strategy as well as the implementation of the digitalization of the group’s business models. He currently lives in Wiesbaden, Germany with his wife Adrienne and two children. When he is not busy with disrupting the air cargo industry, you can find him on the local golf courses or hunting in the nearby woods.

The founding of WANB EXPRESS marked Michelle’s first entrepreneurial venture, driven by the rapid growth of cross-border e-commerce in recent years.
Although the cross-border e-commerce industry has experienced impressive growth, its supporting services—such as logistics, payments, and taxation—remain underdeveloped. To address the lack of comprehensive cross-border logistics and supply chain solutions in China, Michelle’s team leveraged its deep understanding of supply chain operations, integrating technology and resources to develop an end-to-end logistics solution tailored for cross-border e-commerce.
With the increasing volume of international cross-border trade, the number of e-commerce platforms and seller profiles has grown rapidly, alongside the diversification of product categories. This evolution has driven demand for more complex and customized logistics services. As a result, the logistics sector has also become more segmented, enabling providers to deliver highly specialized services to exporters.
Domestically, WANB EXPRESS has established logistics warehouses in Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, and Hong Kong. Internationally, the company has set up dedicated management teams and operational hubs in both the UK and Germany. Today, cross-border logistics has evolved beyond simple postal forwarding into a diverse and sophisticated service ecosystem. Michelle summarizes this transformation with three key concepts: Compliance, Intelligence, and Integration.
As with many emerging industries, the early stages of cross-border e-commerce saw rapid, unregulated growth. However, stricter regulations from both governments and platforms are now driving the industry toward standardized and compliant development.
Integration of resources is another critical direction for future growth. By consolidating various nodes and partners across the supply chain, logistics providers can deliver greater value-added services to clients. To support this vision, WANB EXPRESS plans to establish dedicated customer service centers and return logistics hubs across Europe, fostering the development of reverse logistics.

After several years of development, WANB EXPRESS has built a robust and stable operational system, with a team of around 200 employees. Christos comes with experience from 4 continents 8 nations and over 30 years within the global air cargo logistics and freight forwarding industry. During his professional journey he was exposed to many different markets and cultures of conducting airfreight business.

He specializes in various air cargo sectors including advanced air freight consolidation management, neutral airfreight wholesale, revenue optimization, ULDs utilization and equalization, gateway planning, networking, and to effective selling & sourcing for the professional airfreight consolidator and forwarder.

He studied in the UK airfreight forwarding and logistics management, holds IATA, BIFA, ASM, DGR, OA, BA & LH Cargo certificates, and was privileged to work as a young intern with AEI Air Express International in Europe and the Americas.

During his early days in Europe, he managed the family business establishing airfreight organizations across the eastern Mediterranean and the Balkans, representing various global freight forwarders in the region as well as several airlines as a GSSA. Christos has also acquired vast experience in mega and special events logistics, being appointed as an airfreight advisor for the Athens 2004 Olympic Games.

Christos moved to China early in 2000 and founded the ACG Air Cargo Group in Shanghai. ACG is the first established global association of neutral airfreight wholesalers and consolidators.

He is the founder and former partner of CCA China Cargo Alliance (2001) an association of local and independent Chinese freight forwarders, as well as the founder of NAC Consolidators Ltd – a Hong Kong and China based consolidator providing neutral airfreight wholesale services. The company was later merged (2010) to a leading global neutral NVOCC where he held the position of Director Airfreight until 2015.

Christos lived in Asia for 15 years before he moves back to Europe with his family in 2016, focused and committed to providing corporate advisory air cargo logistic and network management solutions to the global freight forwarding and aviation community.

He is the founder and CEO of Neutral Air Partner – the premier global ecosystem of air cargo logistics architects and aviation specialists, which consists of over 400 partners in 150 countries, and he is the organizer of the ACE Air Cargo Logistics Event.

He is also the Group CEO and founder of Aero Africa – an air cargo management group dedicated to providing African airfreight logistic solutions and neutral value-added services to the global logistics and aviation community.

With more than 20 years of experience in different industries such as aviation, technology, retail, logistics, proptech, and financial services, and more than 10 years in executive positions where he has led commercial and operational strategies, Diogo Elias joins Avianca Cargo in 2023 and serves as Senior Vice President.

Prior to joining Avianca Cargo, Diogo worked at LATAM Airlines as Director of Sales and Marketing in São Paulo, and as Managing Director at LATAM Cargo in the same city.
In addition to this experience, Diogo has worked in different companies such as Loft, Natura, Itaú, and Microsoft, among others; and holds an MBA with emphasis in Strategy and General Management from the University of Michigan and a Master of Science in Business, with emphasis in Operational Management and Statistical Modeling from the University of São Paulo.

Penny Estrada is recognised for her acumen in identifying, nurturing strategic partnerships and cross-sector collaboration in supply chain, freight & international trade.

Penny's career spans from handling Pricing, Operations and Contracts at a shipping line's US headquarters to managing the global network and building trade lanes for a group of freight forwarders, to co-founding a joint venture with a port operator, with an academic background rooted in Politics and Design Thinking.

With both parents as freight forwarding pioneers in the Philippines, she is a strong advocate for the role of mid-sized and independent forwarders as agile, relationship-driven specialists who are essential to facilitating global trade especially in developing or new markets. Her work focuses on long-term partnerships, market expansion, and navigating complexity in an increasingly consolidated industry.

To accompany her work, she has led organisations that bridge communities - young professionals, art collectors and enthusiasts, sustainability practitioners - together and can be found often at a tennis court. Her current focus is bringing her extensive experience and diverse interests to dialogues involving ethical business practices, energy policies and cross-cultural collaboration.

Markus studied in Marburg, Germany, San’a, Yemen and graduated from Durham University (UK) and found his way into the air cargo industry early on. He has worked for renowned international companies such as Lufthansa Cargo, CHAMP Cargo Systems, Unilode, and AirBridge Cargo. A key focus of his work is the digital transformation of the air cargo industry. He won the IATA Innovation Award 2019 in Singapore for Unilode’s Smart ULD program. Since 2022, he has been responsible for international business development in the air cargo practice at Lufthansa Industry Solutions, an IT consulting company of the Lufthansa Group.

Michelle Fok leads the Sustainable Development function for Cathay Subsidiary Services, which provides specialist services to Cathay's diversify ground subsidiaries, including Cathay Dining, Cathay Cargo Terminal, Hong Kong Airport Services and Vogue Laundry. As the Head of Sustainable Development, Michelle develops and implements ground sustainability strategies focusing on decarbonization, water conservation, waste diversion, and the avoidance of single-use plastics. She ensures effective implementation of reduction initiatives, communication and awareness among relevant stakeholders.

Kenneth Gibson is the Head of Business Development at the International Air Cargo Association.

He’s been with the organization since 2015; supporting members in strengthening their brands and growing their industry relationships.
Kenneth holds a Master of Science degree in Global Strategic Communications, with a Graduate Certificate in Conflict Resolution and Consensus Building from Florida International University, School of Journalism and Mass Communication.

Tushar Jani, Chairman of CSC Group and SCA Group, is a pioneering leader in India’s logistics and supply chain industry with over 40 years of experience. He co-founded Blue Dart Express Limited, India’s premier courier company, and Blue Dart Aviation Limited, the nation’s first private air cargo carrier. A visionary entrepreneur, Jani has driven innovation across custom house clearance, freight forwarding, aviation, warehousing, and 3PL/4PL logistics. As President of the Air Cargo Forum of India and Chairman of the Air Cargo Handlers Association of India, he has shaped industry standards and policies. Jani founded the Express Industry Council of India and spearheaded the establishment of courier terminals at major Indian airports, fostering public-private partnerships. An appointee to the Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University’s executive council, he continues to mentor entrepreneurs and lead trade associations, contributing significantly to the growth of India’s logistics and aviation sectors.

Family trips for dinner at Glasgow Airport kicked off Crawford’s interest in aviation.

Having studied engineering at university – his first job was with Britain’s third largest airline Dan-Air. Thereafter he undertook a Master's degree in Air Transport at Cranfield University.

Moving to Airbus he was involved with the first sale to British Airways and taking over marketing for the Pacific saw success at Air New Zealand, Jetstar and Qantas.
He returned to Toulouse to market A330s including the A330-200F and A330neo.

He has now moved on to Freighter Marketing as Airbus now implements its comprehensive line-built freighter strategy starting with the A350F.

Olivier leads SmartKargo’s high-growth strategy as EVP and Chief Revenue Officer, overseeing strategic corporate initiatives including Business Development, Marketing, and Global Account Service. Prior to joining the executive team at SmartKargo, Olivier spent over 20 years serving the Air Transport industry, first by leading the Global Air Transport Consulting Practice at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young and more recently as the President and General Manager of Unisys Global Travel & Transportation business.

With his background in the Aviation industry and Management Consulting, Olivier gained first-hand experience from the many prominent executives he worked with. At SmartKargo, Olivier works with other SmartKargo Management Team members to coordinate initiatives in Finance, Product Roadmap and with Global Delivery teams to ensure SmartKargo continues market leadership in product innovation and stays ahead of industry trends.

Glyn has been involved in Air Cargo for over 37 years having started his career with British Caledonian in the UK.

He joined IATA in 1991 and become IATA's Global Head of Cargo in June 2014, where he had overall responsibility to deliver the agenda agreed by the Cargo Committee to support the Air Cargo industry. In February 2021, Glyn joined TIACA as its first Director general where he will work with the Board to deliver the organization's vision for a safe, profitable and united air cargo industry that embraces modern technologies and practices to sustainably and fairly serve trade and social development worldwide. Priority areas include safety, security, digitalization and innovation. He is dedicated to developing collaborative relationships and is a firm believer in supporting the next generation of industry leaders and innovators.

Glyn spends a large amount of time on outreach programs with training and other educational establishments.

Reji John is a journalist with 26 years of experience in writing, reporting, editing, and collating content across various media, including print (magazine & newspaper), television, and online. He has expertise in writing and reporting across diverse subjects and beats. In 2013, he joined STAT Media Group, where he has since been responsible for all editorial functions of the group's publications (The STAT Trade Times, Indian Transport and Logistics News and Logistics Update Africa) leading a small team of journalists covering the logistics industry across all modes of transport.

Reji also oversees the conferences that STAT Media Group organizes in India and Africa, in addition to those the group partners with external exhibition companies. He is regularly invited to moderate panel discussions at transport and logistics events around the world. He has created the Cargo Masterminds video interview series, which will soon launch its third season, and was also responsible for the 15-episode Logistics Tech Dialogue video interview series.

Alex is the Cofounder of Belli, a VC-backed air cargo technology startup. He was previously part of the technology team at AirAsia cargo & Accenture.

Throughout his career, Jan has consistently demonstrated a commitment to innovative thinking, introducing cutting-edge products and quick to market solutions that have reshaped the cargo landscape. United Airlines creative response to COVID-19 coupled with United Cargo’s bold decision to immediately launch cargo-only flights—an industry first—enabled United Airlines to resume international operations faster than any other global carrier. Under his leadership, the team operated more than 17,000 cargo-only flights, helping United navigate one of the most challenging periods in aviation history.

Prior to joining United, Jan spent 27 years at KLM Cargo, where he held a range of senior leadership roles including: Vice President Asia; Vice President Europe, Africa, and the Middle East; and Vice President Worldwide Customer Service. In this last role, he played a pivotal part in the global integration of Air France and KLM Cargo, aligning international offices, systems, and teams during and after the merger—an achievement that showcased his exceptional ability to lead through complexity and change.

Wilson Kwong joined the Jardine Matheson Group in 1998, and has held senior management positions in aviation, real estate development, property management and engineering services. Wilson has 10+ years of direct experience in the aviation industry and holds key positions in various industry associations and committees.
Wilson is Chairman of the Employers’ Federation of Hong Kong, a member of the General Committee and Chairman of the Transport and Logistics Committee of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce, and Chairman of the Logistics Management Committee of the Hong Kong Management Association. He is a Member of the Hong Kong Logistics Development Council, the Minimum Wage Commission, the Land and Development Advisory Committee, the Tripartite Taskforce on Manpower Training (Aviation) and the HKTDC Logistics Services Advisory Committee respectively; a Council Member of the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre, a Board Member of GS1 Hong Kong and an Advisory Committee Member of the Asian Institute of Supply Chains and Logistics. Wilson is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport and the Hong Kong Institute of Directors, as well as a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Since joining Hactl, Wilson has expanded Hactl’s service portfolio and strengthened Hactl’s focus on digitization, innovation, compliance and sustainability. New initiatives under his management have included robotics in security, hygiene and spare part provision; the launch of Integrated Hactl Control Centre and Hacis’ E-commerce Fulfilment Centre; accreditation under all four IATA CEIV programs (Pharma, Fresh, Live Animals and Lithium Batteries); and an award-winning green office refurbishment.

Andress Lam, Head of Cargo Digital at Cathay Cargo, is a digital leader with a comprehensive background in digital technology and IT. Since joining Cathay Cargo in 2022, she has been at the forefront of spearheading digital transformation within the air cargo industry. Her journey in the air cargo sector is marked by a series of strategic initiatives that have significantly uplifted Cathay Cargo's digital capabilities.
With over a decade of experience at Cathay Pacific, Andress has a proven track record of executing complex IT projects across various business units, including Cargo. Her tenure at Cathay Pacific provided her with a solid foundation in the intricacies of air cargo operations, preparing her to lead the digital charge at Cathay Cargo with insight and determination.

Mr Lin Sun Mo Willy, is the Chairman of Hong Kong Shippers’ Council, Managing Director of Milo’s Knitwear (International) Ltd., Independent Non-Executive Director of Tradelink Electronic Commerce Ltd., Honorary Chairman of Hong Kong Exporters’ Association, Hong Kong Knitwear Exporters and Manufacturers Association, and Textile Council of Hong Kong respectively.

Mr Lin also has a strong public service record. He is currently Board Member of the Trade and Industry Advisory Board, Council Member of Hong Kong Logistics Development Council, Board Member of Hong Kong Maritime and Port Board, Member of E-Commerce Development Task Force under the Commerce and Economic Development Bureau, and Committee Member of InnoHK Steering Committee.

Mr Lin is the Honorary Consul of the Slovak Republic for Hong Kong and Macau, Director of Hong Kong-Thailand Business Council, Honorary Trade Advisor of the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand, Advisor of Our Hong Kong Foundation. He was the Former Chairman of Hong Kong Productivity Council.

Mr Lin graduated from Babson College in the United States with a Bachelor of Science degree.

David joined CHAMP Cargosystems in January 2019 as the Head of Commercial & Operations EMEA. Since October 2019, David has been leading the global commercial and account management team. Before joining CHAMP, David held senior positions at Network Airline Services-GSSA as the General Manager for the UK, Delta Air Lines Inc as the Regional Director EMEA, and Continental Airlines as the European Service Manager. With over 30 years of experience in Air Cargo and a lifelong passion for aviation, David is also a qualified helicopter pilot. He recalls his most exhilarating experience as flying for three hours in and around the Grand Canyon and the Panama Canal.

Victor has over 30 years of aviation experience. Before taking up the DGCA position, he held different senior management positions in various technical divisions of the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department.

He is a Board Member of the Airport Authority Hong Kong. He has also been the Chairman of the ICAO Asia Pacific Regional Aviation Safety Group, and the Vice President – Asia of the International Federation of Airworthiness.

Victor graduated from the University of Hong Kong. He also holds a Specialized Master Degree in Aviation Safety (Aircraft Airworthiness) from Ecole Nationale de l’ Aviation Civile, France. He is a professional pilot and a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Engineers.

Mr. Simon Ng joined Global Logistics System (HK) Co. Ltd. (GLSHK) as the CEO in 2018. Before joining the company, he held managerial positions at Cathay Pacific Airways overseeing streams such as Sales and Distribution and Digital Transformation. Simon’s unwavering aspiration is to pioneer the future of digital cargo, leveraging his expertise in digitalization. Under his vision of bringing transformation to the air cargo industry, GLSHK recently achieved significant milestones, such as collaborating with Cathay Cargo to develop a compelling booking system and becoming the world’s first technology provider to enable daily usage production under the IATA ONE Record scheme. Simon holds a Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of Hong Kong. His determination continues to shape the skies of innovation, leaving an indelible mark in the world of digitalised logistics.

As Executive Director of the Chicago Rockford International Airport (RFD) he is responsible for the leadership and oversight of the entire organization. In his time at RFD, he has overseen the planning and construction of over $200 million of air cargo infrastructure improvements and is currently working with airport stakeholders on the Airport Master Plan to support air cargo growth and operations at RFD well into the future.

He is an Accredited Airport Executive (A.A.E.) through the American Association of Airport Executives. He received a BS in Aviation Management from Southern Illinois University. A MS in Aerospace Operations and Management from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and has been in various roles at RFD since 2006.

Tom Owen is Director Cargo for Cathay based in Hong Kong, with accountability for all commercial, operational and customer related components of Cathay Cargo’s global business. Operating a freighter fleet of 20 Boeing 747 aircraft and selling onto the belly capacity of the Cathay Group’s approximately 190 passenger aircraft, Cathay Cargo is a leading industry player in air cargo, connecting Hong Kong with 90+ destinations worldwide with the vision to be the world’s best air cargo carrier. Cathay has also ordered six Airbus A350F freighter aircraft and has the right to acquire 20 more aircraft. Owen is also accountable for the businesses of Air Hong Kong an express cargo airline in partnership with DHL, Global Logistics Systems Ltd, a cargo IT solutions business, and the Cathay Cargo Terminal, Hong Kong’s leading air cargo logistics facility.

A visionary executive with over 10 years of experience in the Airlines industry, currently serving as Vice President of Cargo Commercial at Garuda Indonesia and Commissioner at Aero Jasa Cargo with a proven track record. Skilled in enhancing operational efficiency and improving customer satisfaction through strategic initiatives. Adept at leading cross-functional teams and building strong industry partnerships to achieve organizational objectives.

Emir Pineda is the Trade & Logistics Manager for the Marketing Division of the Miami-Dade Aviation Department, which operates Miami International Airport (MIA).

Pineda started his career as an intern at MIA in 1988 before embarking on a career that has seen him work in senior business development roles for cargo trade at both Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) Airport and Air France/KLM Martinair Cargo.

He also served as the Commercial Route Development Manager for Cargolux, responsible for sales and operations throughout Latin America

Steven Polmans started his career after graduating in 1995 in aviation joining a European handling company and his since spent most of his career in the industry. After having held several operational and management position at different airports in handling, he joined Brussels Airport in 2010 as Cargo Marketing Manager and was appointed Head of Cargo and Logistics in 2012. In this position, he was responsible for developing and implementing the overall cargo strategy of the airport.

Steven was also the founding father and first chairman of Air Cargo Belgium, a newly established air cargo organisation at BRUcargo, grouping all stakeholders. On April 1st 2019, Steven was promoted to Director Cargo & Logistics, adding all responsibilities for cargo real estate development and portfolio management to its existing role.

Steven joined the board of TIACA, The International Air Cargo Association, in August 2016, and became Vice Chairman in October 2017. As of July 2019, Steven took over the role of Chairman at TIACA, a position he still holds today.
In January 2021, Steven moved on and joined Nallian as their Chief Customer Officer, a data sharing company building amongst others the innovative BRUcloud platform. In February 2022, Steven became VP at Abu Dhabi Airport Company to realise the cargo ambitions and growth set by the airport.

James E. Powell is president and founder of Transportation Development Group LLC (TDG) a dangerous goods (hazardous materials) training company and consultancy based in Seattle, WA.

Jim founded TDG in 1992 after 16 years in executive level positions in the airline, trucking and logistics industries throughout the U.S. His career includes 5 years at Skyway Freight Systems, a leader in Third Party Logistics services, as well as Air Express International, DHL and Air Polynesia in Hawaii. He served as Director of Cargo for DHL Air Cargo in the early 1980’s and created their first FAA approved HazMat Training Program.

Jim is an international author, speaker and trainer on dangerous goods and logistics issues. He is a delegate to the UN Subcommittee of Experts on the Transportation of Dangerous Goods for the UN and has attended the UN meetings regarding lithium battery transportation regulations in Geneva for the past 6 years.
From 1998 to 2002, Jim was involved in training over 150 FAA Special Agents at their academy in Oklahoma City. Jim was an original instructor for California State University Long Beach’s “Global Logistics Specialist Program” for nearly 10 years.

Bob first set foot in Hong Kong late 1974 and have lived there ever since. He has been directly involved in ULD since 1981, first with OEM Nordisk Aviation Products where he went on to run the Asia Pacific operations until stepping away from any commercial activities in 2015.
By that time, he had already played a considerable role in the industry side of ULD, both as participant in the various IATA ULD initiatives such as the creation of the IATA ULD Regulations and as a part of ULD CARE, the trade association of the ULD world.

These days Bob remains very engaged in the affairs of ULD CARE, whose primary mission is to promote a greater awareness of the importance of ULD operations with particular focus on Safety, Digital, Knowledge and Sustainability.

Nikolai Schaffner is a member of Swissport’s strategic cargo steering committee – the Global Cargo Chair – and is also Global Director of E-Commerce. He has a background in economics and management consulting.

Benny Siu, Head of Safety, Sustainability and Quality Assurance of Hactl, works with different stakeholders in the aviation supply chain on safety, sustainability, quality and risk management. Benny is also a Chartered Environmentalist and Chartered Safety Practitioner.
Hactl is one of the world’s leading air cargo terminal operators, providing services to over 100 airlines and 1000 freighter forwarders. Launched in 1976 to consolidate and streamline all air cargo handling in Hong Kong, Hactl has played a major role in the establishment of Hong Kong as the definitive air cargo logistics hub for Southern China and Asia.

Alvin Tay leads the sales and marketing team in Asia-Pacific and manages all commercial activities and regulatory relations in the region.
Mr. Tay joined Atlas Air in 2018 with more than 18 years of airfreight industry and management experience, primarily in the Asia-Pacific region. Prior to joining Atlas Air, he held a number of senior management positions at Singapore Airlines Cargo, most recently as Vice President Sales & Marketing. Before that, he served in a variety of executive positions including Vice President Commercial for China Cargo Airlines (then a joint venture between Eastern Air Logistics and Singapore Airlines Cargo).
Mr. Tay received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Southeast Asian Studies from the National University of Singapore.

Roland started his aviation career 39 years ago in the sales department of Air Canada in Frankfurt, Germany.

A couple of years later he moved over to Delta Air Lines where he held several positions in Sales Management -
the last one as Regional Director Sales Southern Europe
and Southeast Asia.

In March 2005 he joined Fraport as VP Sales and the key contact for the airlines’ route and network planners ensuring optimal development of scheduled services to and via Frankfurt. In February 2013 he was appointed VP Sales Cargo for Frankfurt Airport and is based within Fraport’s Aviation & Cargo Development division.

In Europe, Frankfurt Airport ranks first in terms of cargo tonnage and was the sixth-busiest gateway for passenger traffic in 2024.

Tim Wong is a seasoned aviation leader with over two decades of expertise in air cargo, revenue management, and passenger services. As General Manager of Cargo Service Delivery at Cathay Cargo, he empowers teams to deliver safe, efficient, and customer-centric solutions aligned with the organization’s “We Know How” ethos. His leadership fosters transparent communication and prioritizes team development and well-being, cultivating environments where collaboration and accountability drive sustainable performance. Tim’s forward-looking approach integrates advanced technologies and sustainable practices, enabling agile adaptation to evolving global logistics demands. By nurturing strategic partnerships and continuous improvement, he reinforces Cathay Cargo’s position as a trusted industry leader. Frank Yau is the Head of Cargo Sales, Hong Kong & Greater Bay Area (GBA) at Cathay Cargo, based in Hong Kong. Leading a dynamic team of sales professionals, he is responsible for developing and executing strategic sales and distribution initiatives to uphold Cathay Cargo’s market leadership in Hong Kong and the GBA. Under his leadership, the team not only drives export growth but also enhances inbound cargo flows into the GBA by delivering seamless, cost-effective multimodal connectivity—spanning air, sea, and road transport—between Hong Kong and other key cities in the region.

With over 20 years of experience in logistics and air cargo, Frank brings a wealth of expertise to his role. Before joining Cathay, he held positions at several global freight forwarding companies. Since becoming part of the Cathay team, he has held pivotal commercial roles within Cathay Cargo, including seven years in cargo sales across Hong Kong and Guangzhou, three years in Shanghai, and two years in interline partnerships. He assumed his current leadership position in 2018, further strengthening the company’s cargo sales strategy in the region.

Beyond his core responsibilities, Frank serves as the Chairman of the Cargo Subcommittee at the Board of Airline Representatives (BAR) Hong Kong, an industry body representing 74 airlines operating in Hong Kong and globally. In this capacity, he plays an instrumental role in advancing initiatives that reinforce Hong Kong’s position as the world’s premier air cargo hub.

Frank holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree, specializing in Supply Chain and Logistics, underscoring his academic foundation in the field. His deep industry knowledge, strategic vision, and leadership continue to drive innovation and growth in air cargo logistics.

Mr. YICK Chi Ming, Frankie, joined Wharf group in 1994. He is now responsible for, inter alia, overseeing the Wharf group’s public transport and terminals portfolio.

Mr Yick has extensive industrial and management experience in the public transportation and logistics industry, and is a member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong representing the Transport Functional Constituency. He holds directorships in various Wharf group companies.

Mr. Yick is a non-executive director of Harbour Centre Development Limited (stock code: 51) and The “Star” Ferry Company, Limited and also a director of Modern Terminals Limited, all being subsidiaries of Wharf. He is also a director of Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited which is an associate of Wharf. Other than the private sector, Mr Yick has also been appointed as a Board member of the Airport Authority Hong Kong from June 1st 2014 till 31 May 2022.

On the maritime and logistics sector, Mr. Yick has been appointed as a member of the Hong Kong Maritime and Port Board on April 1st, 2016, a member of the Hong Kong Logistics Development Council since November 1st, 2012, and Chairman of HKTDC Logistics Services Advisory Committee since April 1st, 2018. He is a member of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) since January 24th, 2018, and Vice-Chairman of Independent Police Complaints Council from January 1st, 2019, to 31 December 2024.

Mr. Yick is a chartered engineer. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering awarded by The University of Hong Kong and a Master Degree in Industrial Management awarded by The University of Birmingham, UK.

Jaisey is responsible for planning, strategy formulation, operations management and business development of Changi Airport's air cargo business.
In her current role, Jaisey manages a team to anchor air cargo connectivity, develop handling capabilities of key cargo verticals and manage ground operational efficiency.
In securing Changi's air cargo future, Jaisey is actively involved in the Changi East Industrial Zone (CEIZ) project and in the shaping and futureproofing of Changi's air cargo hub.
Jaisey holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and a Master of Science (Supply Chain Management) from the National University of Singapore.

Mr. Thomas Yu is the Senior Director of Global Hub Services of Cainiao Network Group. He is leading the commercial and operational functions of global hub business across the end-to-end cross border logistics services, and responsible for delivering operational strategies, innovating new processes, implementing digital solution and expanding global presence in the worldwide network. Thomas possesses over 20 years' experience in the aviation industry and specialized in strategic management, operational planning, service delivery, commercial and business development in the field of airport, air freight logistics and ground handling services. Prior to joining Cainiao Network, Thomas worked for Emirates Group Headquarters as Head of International Airport Operations based in Dubai and held several management positions in a few world-renowned cargo terminals in Hong Kong. Thomas is also the Chartered Member of Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transportation (CILT), and holder of a Master Degree of International Shipping and Logistics Management and Bachelor Degree of Engineering. Thomas is the Winner of the CILTHK Young Achiever Award and the Hong Kong Young Logistician of the Year Award.
