Pascal oversees all commercial activities at Winnipeg Airport, including air service development, air cargo, marketing and sales, real estate, as well communications and public relations.

He previously held the position of President & Chief Operating Officer at Aéroport de Québec inc., where he successfully provided strategic and operational leadership, as well as managing the planning and construction phases of a major terminal redevelopment project, which opened in 2008.

Jason Berry was appointed Vice President, Cargo in January 2021, with oversight for all aspects of Air Canada’s cargo business, including leading, directing, developing and implementing customer-centric initiatives and solutions, and responsibility for commercial business and its profitability.
Berry has more than 25 years of cargo experience in the aviation industry. Prior to joining the company, Berry held leadership roles in commercial and operational capacities at Alaska Airlines, Cargolux Airlines, Menzies Aviation and McGee Air Services. He began his career with Cargolux in 1995 as a warehouse agent, moving on to greater roles of increasing responsibility before assuming leadership positions in the ground handling sector. Berry joined Alaska Airlines in 2013, completing his tenure with the airline as Managing Director, Cargo. His most recent role was serving as President of McGee Air Services, a wholly owned ground handling subsidiary of Alaska Airlines.
Mr. Berry is a graduate of Central Washington University and holds an Executive MBA from the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business.

Mr. Blake has more than 30 years of experience at NASA and in industry developing and analyzing some of the world’s most complex aircraft, spacecraft, and aviation systems. Within NASA he developed dozens of high-fidelity simulations including vertical take-off jets, advanced rotorcraft, space shuttle guidance systems, and commercial air traffic management systems. Within industry he was the principal architect of ACES, the world’s highest fidelity nation-wide air traffic simulation system and he performed many of the key analyses for the FAA that led to what is now called NextGen. He is an active pilot and the Vice President Solutions at Nexteon Corporation where he manages all aspects of the SmartRoutes optimization system.

Scott Case is Founder and Chief Storyteller for Position : Global. In addition to these core competencies, Scott’s extensive experience with IT, global, national and local public speaking events and more than two decades as a licensed Customs broker and freight forwarder uniquely permit him to consult and advise on a range of topics. Scott is a graduate of Northwestern University in 1993 with degrees in Political Science and German Studies, a language in which he is conversationally fluent. He received his Custom broker’s license in 1994 and has traveled extensively to Asia, Europe and South America to meet with partners, customers and manufacturers. A highly sought-after public speaker who has presented to audiences around the world, Scott has presented to importers, exporters, students, peers, government officials and general audiences on a variety of topics. Whether educating his peers on the importance of marketing, branding and social media usage to the growth of their businesses or discussing the nuts and bolts of a global supply chain, Scott is an interesting and thought-provoking speaker who gives all attendees a takeaway for their own lives or businesses.

Trevor joined the Edmonton International Airport (EIA) in 2017 with the Air Service Business Development Unit. In his role, Trevor is responsible for effectively executing air service development priorities, while cultivating strong relationships with the freight forwarders, business community members in the region, airline partners and key stakeholders at the airport.

Denis was appointed Chairman of the European Shippers’ Council in April 2011.

He has been Chairman of AUTF, the French Shippers’ Association since 2005, and has worked as Director of the Boards of Ports de Paris and Réseau Ferré de France and as Director of the Boards of Voies Nevigables de France.

Max started his career as a Consultant with Dornier Consulting GmbH where he was responsible for the airport expansion project in the area of airport infrastructure.

His experience in this field enables him to join Fraport AG in 2005 where he held a number of management positions over the past 15 years. This includes time as Vice President of the Department for Environmental Impact, Noise and Air Quality. In the area of strategy and management/approval processes, he was in charge of the expansion program of Frankfurt airport including a new runway, Terminal 3 and Southern Expansion Area.

Before his appointment as Vice President Cargo in November 2018, he was in charge of Operational Planning in the field of terminal management. He and his team are working closely together with the Cargo Community in Frankfurt to further improve handling processes and cargo infrastructure, whether its physical or digital.

Lesley Cripps – is an Airline/Aviation industry professional with over 30 year’s commercial & operational experience working within the cargo aviation industry for 5 major players, having held a number of key positions contributing to a broad knowledge of the industry. She has a proven track record of sales growth in all positions combined with excellent networking skills.
She started her career with Singapore Airlines where she developed her understanding for operations she excelled and passed all courses, with a passion growing for the cargo industry progressed into sales with Martinair, at that time a global cargo operator.
She has made it clear that the cargo industry is far behind so many industries when it comes to information technology. Cargo Flash has the innovation and team to take this forward, and with Lesley’s understanding of the industry, she will look to take the technology forward in the industry.

Overall, she has Sales and Operational experience with a balanced view of the aviation business gained over 30 years in the industry. During her years within the cargo sector has gained the respect of the industry and is known to be straight forward and not afraid of a challenge.

Milton De La Paz is Vice President of Airline Relations and Cargo Business Development at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport and directs the airport’s primary business goal to grow the core business of domestic and international passenger and cargo airline service. He also leads efforts to optimize business performance with all passenger and cargo airline partners at DFW.

Milton is an accomplished senior commercial executive with more than 25 years of airline experience in the aviation and commercial airlines industry. He is responsible for the execution of DFW Airport’s short- and long-range new air service strategies and for the airport’s strategy to retain and grow existing airline service. He also leads DFW’s air cargo business development strategy including new air cargo route development initiatives, facilities and infrastructure assessment and DFW air cargo community engagement.

Nathan heads the Cargo Product & Route development team at Brussels Airport. He is responsible for the business development and key account activities for airlines, forwarders and shippers at Brussels Airport, as well as the further development of the BRUcargo digitization and various specializations such as pharma, perishables, animal transport or e-commerce.

In his previous role Nathan took the lead in further strengthening BRUcargo’ s position as the preferred European pharmaceutical gateway. He managed the CEIV pharma community certification program at BRUcargo making Brussels Airport the first cargo community in the world to be CEIV pharma certified.

Nathan De Valck has been working in the aviation industry since 2002. His cargo experience ranges from operational management, legal compliance, business development to commercial account management at several airports in Europe for cargo handling agents and airport operators.

Nathan is co-founder and current chairman of Pharma.Aero and a full member of the IATA Time and Temperature Working Group

For over seven years, Kai Domscheit has been a young, passionate and noteworthy leader in Europe’s leading air cargo hub located in Frankfurt airport, Germany. You may know him from his work as CEO at CHI Deutschland Cargo Handling GmbH, but Kai can also be credited with contributions to exponentially grow and transform the company’s group revenue from 20 million€ to well over 150 million€ in less than seven years, making it the largest ground handler by tonnage in FRA three years in a row. He has been recognized by his disruptive hands-on management style without being afraid to take calculated risk. Kai is responsible for the group’s strategy as well as the implementation of the digitalization of the group’s business models. He currently lives in Wiesbaden, Germany with his wife Adrienne and two children. When he is not busy with disrupting the air cargo industry, you can find him on the local golf courses or hunting in the nearby woods.

Eugenio is the Co-Founder of AeroVect, developing OEM-agnostic self-driving systems for airport ground support equipment, enabling superior productivity, reliability, and safety on the airside.
Prior to founding Aerovect, he served in various roles at Apple Inc. and Bain & Company. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Harvard University, and was also involved with the International Center for Air Transportation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Jeff joined Stanley Black & Decker’s Global Supply Management team in February 2020 to lead global transportation and 3PL warehousing procurement efforts. He’s a career manufacturing and distribution logistician with over 35 years of experience leading logistics teams and activities at the tactical, regional, and strategic levels in the U.S. Army, Defense Industry, Automotive Industry and now the Consumer & Industrial Products Industry.

Jeff has applied his managerial expertise in supply chain design, global distribution, inventory control, materials management and resource planning in North America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. Jeff’s passion is team-driven efficiency, productivity and supply chain performance in complex global environments.

Sean Elmurib is a Ventures Associate for Plug and Play's Supply Chain Team. While at Plug and Play, Sean has been able to lead diligence on several investments, as well as take lead on Plug and Play's portfolio management initiatives. Sanjeev launched cargo carrier Astral Aviation in 2000, which has grown to become the largest private cargo airline in Eastern Africa, boasting a fleet of B747-400F, DC9F, B727F and F27 freighters. He is also Vice Chairman of the African Airlines Association (AFRAA) Cargo Task Force, Africa’s largest airline association and promoting co-operation in operational, commercial, technical and training fields.

Together with his founding partner, Manel Galindo founded WebCargoNet, later WebCargo, in 2009, with the vision of making air cargo rate management more efficient. Manel combined a passion for deep technical thinking with a strong vision for air cargo digitization to scale his business, reaching over 1,500 global air cargo forwarders by 2016.

In 2016, WebCargo was acquired by the Freightos Group. With Manel at the helm, it expanded the scope of operations, implementing his vision deeper air cargo integration. By leveraging technical expertise, air cargo experience, relationships that ran deep across airlines and forwarders, and deep platform integrations, Manel was a digital air cargo pioneer, envisioning eBookings between airlines and forwarders, based on live capacity and prices. Under his leadership, WebCargo expanded to a suite of software tools for forwarders and carriers, reaching over 2,200 forwarders, internal usage at every top twenty five global forwarder, unique eBooking traction with airlines representing 20%+ of global capacity, and a drive for innovation.

Prior to WebCargo, Manel and his cofounder at WebCargoNet founded a technical marketing agency, leveraging Manel’s love for sales (before that, as a salesperson at a computer software store, he had excelled as the best salesperson in Europe) and his cofounder’s love for coding. There, they developed core expertise in both business management and technology. He has a masters degree in sales and marketing from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, and underwent executive training at the IESE Business School at the University of Navarra. He speaks frequently at cargo events such as Tranport Logiscs and TPM, has appeared in top industry publications, and is a board member at a number of other air cargo associations.

Kenneth Gibson is the Head of Business Development at the International Air Cargo Association.

He’s been with the organization since 2015; supporting members in growing their brands and strengthening their industry relationships.
Kenneth holds Master of Science degree in Global Strategic Communications, with a Graduate Certificate in Conflict Resolution and Consensus Building from Florida International University, School of Journalism and Mass Communication.
Kenneth is originally from Caracas, Venezuela and resides in Miami, FL with his wife and three kids.
He is fluent in English and Spanish… with a drop of Portuguese.

Myles has spent his career driving strategic business, new market development, operational and investment opportunities in the aviation, aerospace and logistics industries. Previously, he led Accenture’s Travel and Hospitality Practice as Managing Director through the acquisition of Seabury Consulting.
As part of the core team at Seabury, Myles built the leading specialized aviation and aerospace advisory business in the world, and spent a decade in Hong Kong establishing the Asia Pacific practice. Seabury worked with leading airlines, OEMs, integrators, airports, cargo and logistics companies, MROs, and governments around the world on strategy, turnarounds, acquisitions, financing and operational improvements. Myles holds a BCom degree with Honors in Management Information Systems and Accounting at the University of Cape Town, South Africa.

Carlos Grau Tanner is the Director General of the Geneva-based Global Express Association (GEA),
which he joined in 2010.
GEA is the global trade association of the three leading express delivery carriers (DHL, FedEx/TNT and
UPS).
A dual Swiss-Spanish citizen, Mr Grau holds a Law Degree from the University of Barcelona, Spain, and
a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy from The Fletcher School at Tufts University (Boston, USA).
He speaks Spanish, English, French, Catalan, passable Italian and broken German and Swiss-German.
In previous professional lives, he worked for the airline industry - at Swissair and IATA, where he was
Director of Government and Industry Affairs - and for the Council of Europe, an inter-governmental
organization.

Manal Habib is co-founder and CEO of MightyFly. A graduate from both MIT and Stanford, Habib has developed a strong technical background in aerospace engineering. She previously led flight controls at Zipline and developed the first robust commercial flight controller. She is a private pilot and in the process of building her own airplane. Her passion for aerospace, vision for a better world, and determination make her a motivated and unstoppable entrepreneur and leader.

Céline is a driver of positive change with 20 years of experience in international environment, mainly in the aviation industry. It led her to creating Change Horizon in 2019, a management consulting firm committed to help organizations accelerate their sustainable development and transformation.

Celine is a strategic advisor to several executives of companies and non-profit organizations and Change Horizon growing team of consultants support them in developing, updating, and implementing sustainable corporate strategies. Passionate about learning & development, Celine has co-founded the Future Air Cargo Executives (FACE) program to attract, develop and retain the young talents in the air cargo industry in 2013 and the Women in Aviation & Logistics initiative to improve the gender balance within the air cargo industry in 2021.

Glyn has been involved in Air Cargo for over 37 years having started his career with British Caledonian in the UK.
He joined IATA in 1991 and become IATA's Global Head of Cargo in June 2014, where he had overall responsibility to deliver the agenda agreed by the Cargo Committee to support the Air Cargo industry. In February 2021, Glyn joined TIACA as its first Director general where he will work with the Board to deliver the organization's vision for a safe, profitable and united air cargo industry that embraces modern technologies and practices to sustainably and fairly serve trade and social development worldwide. Priority areas include safety, security, digitalization and innovation. He is dedicated to developing collaborative relationships and is a firm believer in supporting the next generation of industry leaders and innovators.

He sits on the board of TIACA, Amerijet International and holds an MBA from Columbia University

Henrik Leyssens started his aviation & logistics career in Brussels, with some experience on the passenger handling side of the business. In 2012 he joined the Swissport organization after the acquisition of a previous employer and was in charge for the rebranding of the cargo activities. After holding several management positions in the Swissport organization in Belgium, he joined Headquarters in 2016 – responsible for the setting up of the global operations key account management program. Since 2018 he has been responsible for the Swissport global cargo team, including global cargo product, standards, processes, systems, projects, etc. Together with regional management he continuously strives towards the best possible customer experience.

Simone Lis, a German native in California, trains CEOs and managers abroad to develop digital skills for over a decade. As a corporate innovation expert, community designer, and mother of two little girls, Simone promotes diversity and inclusion in education. Her goal is to accelerate achieving a culture of gender equality in the workspace. To do so, she realized that many of the professionals who need upskilling the most are the ones who have the least access to it. So she founded MatchlabN, a professional community-driven program to foster Digital Fluency. This new mindset combines Digital Literacy with 12 human power skills - a future-proof method everybody will need to succeed in today's rapidly changing world.

Jeff Luckett is a founding member of UPS Flight Forward Inc., a new whole owned UPS subsidiary incorporated on June 14, 2019. Jeff is the Head of UAS Strategy, R&D and Acquisitions for UPS Flight Forward. This new UPS company was established to develop and manage the company’s UAS operations.
On September 27, 2019, UPSFF became the first company to receive a Standard Part 135 Air Carrier Certificate. Jeff participated in the partnership with the FAA and NCDOT on an Integration Pilot Program (IPP) in North Carolina and played a key role in the formation of the new company and the path to airline certification. On March 26, 2019, UPSFF made history by launching the first revenue drone flight and regular UAS medical delivery service in the US at WakeMed Hospital in Raleigh, NC. On September 27, 2019, UPSFF made history again by launching its maiden Part 135 revenue flight at WakeMed. This year UPS Flight Forward announced partnership with Beta Technologies with plans to integrate larger aircraft into it’s Part 135 operation.
Prior to his current leadership role, Jeff’s 32-year career at UPS has allowed him to support various areas within the broader UPS company including flight operations, flight training, industrial engineering, buildings and facilities, project management, network planning and most recently as the Long Range Planning Aircraft Acquisitions Manager for UPS Airlines. Jeff has also helped lead the UPS Airline Emergency Response Team, supported the UPS CRAF Program and has participated in numerous humanitarian aid charter operations.
Jeff holds a Bachelor of Sciences Degree from the University of Louisville and an MBA in Aviation from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Jeff also served in the US Navy and deployed to the Middle East on two active-duty tours with Carrier Air Wing Eleven aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln Aircraft Carrier.

Cristina Martín Lorenzo, CEO and Co-founder of Usyncro, a SaaS solution that synchronizes all the actors involved in a national or international shipment in a simple and transparent way using blockchain and artificial intelligence.

She also holds the position of CEO of ATML, an organization of agents and freight forwarders in Madrid that she founded 17 years ago.

She is a Chemical Engineer by training, MBA Executive and is certified as an Air Freight and Transport Operator.

She is vice-president and member of the Executive Committee of ATEIA Madrid, the Madrid Freight Forwarders Association. She is co-leader of the Industry and Logistics Forum of the Spanish Association of Executives and Board Members EJE&CON and coordinator of the Digitalization and New Technologies group of FETEIA, the Spanish Federation of Freight Forwarders; as well as coordinator of MadcargoLab, an initiative of the Association of Air Cargo professionals. She is a member of the board of Alastria, a consortium formed by more than 70 companies to develop the blockchain ecosystem in Spain.

When joining Flexport in 2018, Jonathan led a global team of operational specialist managing the supply-chain of a broad group of clients.
Jonathan re-joined Accenture’s Seabury Cargo in 2020 as the Commercial Manager, helping Seabury’s clients improve their business performance and combine industry expertise with advanced analytics to deliver more insights and enable better decision making based on reliable market information.
Jonathan studied at the University of Groningen and holds a Master of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in Strategic Innovation Management.

Dave Merrill is the co-founder and CEO of Elroy Air, a company dedicated to expanding the reach of express logistics with advanced vertical-takeoff-and-landing (VTOL) cargo aircraft systems. The company's first aircraft - the Chaparral - is designed for fully-automated flight and cargo-handling with lightweight modular containers, and willcarry 250+ lbs of payload with a 300 mi range.
Dave is a technology executive and startup founder with a background in computer science and robotic+interactive systems. Alumnus of MIT (Ph.D.) and Stanford Computer Science / Symbolic Systems (BS, MS), TED speaker, and experienced startup-builder. His work and companies have been featured by the Discovery Channel, Popular Science, Wired, TechCrunch, the New York Times, Forbes and Aviation Wee.

Justina Messeiller has joined Change Horizon in April 2020 as Senior Consultant and expert in sustainability, change management, industry engagement, outreach and communication. Passionate about aviation, diversity and innovation, Justina has 12 years of experience in international organizations, having worked as industry affairs expert at the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) and then communication expert at the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

Justina is a change agent supporting corporate transformation initiatives within the employees’ community, guru in digital communications and a recognized expert in sustainability for air cargo. As such she is supporting TIACA’s Sustainability program, and has already led the 2 first annual Air Cargo Industry Sustainability Surveys and authored the Sustainability publications, including the Air Cargo Sustainability Roadmap.

Amar is an accomplished professional with over 20 years of experience in supply chain, consulting and technology industries.

He is appointed as the Domain Controller of Cross Border Domain at United Nations CEFACT. He is on the panel of trade facilitation experts at UNECE (United Nations Economic Commission of Europe). He has been elected to represent the technology domain in the air cargo industry on the Board of Directors of “The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA)” headquartered in Miami, Florida. This association presents the voice of the global air cargo industry to the regulators. He is the youngest Board Member and the first from technology industry to be appointed on this prominent global industry association’s board

Turhan Ozen’s 30-year work experience involves sales, marketing, business development, logistics and supply chain related areas.

After graduating from Galatasaray High School, he began studying at the Department of Management at Boğaziçi University. Later, he got his Executive MBA at Koç University. He started his early career as the manager of the sales and logistics departments for the Koç Group’s affiliates in the automotive sector. He worked as the Distribution Operations Group Manager and Operations Director at TNT Logistics, where he had been involved since its establishment. Between 2012 and 2014, he was occupied as CEVA Balkans-Middle East and Africa Region VP of Business Development & Sales. Later in 2015, he was appointed to the position of CEVA Global Health Sector President. He served as the Managing Director of CEVA Logistics Middle East and North Africa region until he joined the Turkish Cargo family in December 2016.

Pablo Päster is driven by the need to avert a climate catastrophe and the desire to connect companies and consumers with climate action. A sustainability expert with 20 years of experience advising clients on energy and greenhouse gas management, Pablo has worked with Apple, Harvard, UPS, and Wells Fargo. In his role as Practice Lead in Digital Climate Solutions at South Pole he is applying his background to creating a greenhouse gas management tool for small and medium-sized businesses. When he's not trying to save the world, he is exploring it with his four children in Northern California.

I consider myself a serial entrepreneur and a trainee of life. I have helped build multiple companies in different sectors ranging from banking and finance to agriculture technology. I am curious learning about anything and everything that would make my life and others' more enjoyable and meaningful.

Matt started his career at DB Schenker Australia before moving to Air France - KLM Cargo and Martinair where he held several positions in Operations and Revenue Management in USA and Europe. He subsequently moved to Singapore to work for Dyson, where he was in charge of innovation in Supply Chain.
In 2017, he founded Lending2b and InCorporateSG before coming back to air cargo and founding CargoAi in 2019. CargoAi is now one of the leading modern technology providers in Air Cargo with several products such as their Marketplace and Business Intelligence tools used in more than 93 countries.

Professor Dr. Dr. h.c. Hans-Christian Pfohl, born 14.03.1942 in Gablonz, studied Business Management with
Mechanical Engineering from 1962 to 1968 at Technische Universität Darmstadt, where he graduated in 1968 as
Dipl.-Wirtsch.-Ing., in 1971 as Dr. rer. Pol. and habilitated in 1975 with the “venia legendi” in business
administration. From 1975 to 1982 he held the Chair of Business Administration with responsibility for
“Organization and Planning” at the University of Essen. From 1982 to 2011 he held the Chair of Management and
Logistics at Technische Universität Darmstadt. In 1990 he got calls for chairs at the Johannes Gutenberg University
of Mainz and the Heinrich Heine University of Düsseldorf which he rejected. Since 2011 he is responsible for
“Supply Chain and Network Management” at the Department of Law and Economics at the Technische Universität
Darmstadt. Since 2000 he is also a professor with responsibility for “Management and Logistics” at the ChineseGerman School for Postgraduate Studies (CDHK) in Shanghai, China.

Emir Pineda is the Trade & Logistics Manager for the Marketing Division of the Miami-Dade Aviation Department, which operates Miami International Airport (MIA).

Pineda started his career as an intern at MIA in 1988 before embarking on a career that has seen him work in senior business development roles for cargo trade at both Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) Airport and Air France/KLM Martinair Cargo.

He also served as the Commercial Route Development Manager for Cargolux, responsible for sales and operations throughout Latin America

Steven Polmans started his career after graduating in 1995 in aviation joining a European handling company and his since spent most of his career in the industry. After having held several operational and management position at different airports in handling, he joined Brussels Airport in 2010 as Cargo Marketing Manager and was appointed Head of Cargo and Logistics in 2012. In this position, he was responsible for developing and implementing the overall cargo strategy of the airport.

Steven was also the founding father and first chairman of Air Cargo Belgium, a newly established air cargo organisation at BRUcargo, grouping all stakeholders. On April 1st 2019, Steven was promoted to Director Cargo & Logistics, adding all responsibilities for cargo real estate development and portfolio management to its existing role.

Steven joined the board of TIACA, The International Air Cargo Association, in August 2016, and became Vice Chairman in October 2017. As of July 2019, Steven took over the role of Chairman at TIACA, a position he still holds today.
In January 2021, Steven moved on and joined Nallian as their Chief Customer Officer, a data sharing company building amongst others the innovative BRUcloud platform. In February 2022, Steven became VP at Abu Dhabi Airport Company to realise the cargo ambitions and growth set by the airport.

Founded in 1871, Hellmann started the town of Osnabrueck, northern Germany. Four generations later, Hellmann is a company with a worldwide network of 20,500 people in 489 branches in 173 countries.
Henning has graduate in Business Administration at the University of Applied Sciences Osnabrück. He is with Hellmann for more than 16 years and held various rolls In Supply Chain Management within the organization.
8 years ago, Henning developed the Product Smart Solutions within Hellmann.
Henning is responsible for global management and development of the Smart Solution product family.

Svilen Rangelov - Co-Founder & CEO, DRONAMICS
In 2014, Svilen co-founded DRONAMICS with his brother Konstantin, an aerospace engineer, with a mission to leverage advances in autonomy, aeronautics and composite materials, in order to democratize air freight and accelerate e-commerce in emerging markets. Their cargo airplane, Black Swan can transport 350 kg / 770 lbs at a distance of up to 2,500 km / 1,550 miles and will begin commercial service in 2022 for DHL, Hellmann and other customers, radically changing the economics, speed and coverage of same-day fulfillment.

Svilen and Konstantin are leading a fast growing team of world-class experts in aviation, logistics and engineering, and their pioneering work has won them numerous international awards and industry recognition. In 2018 DRONAMICS became IATA's first strategic partner for drones worldwide. Svilen is an Economics graduate from Davidson College, USA.

Cortney Robinson is a senior official at the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO)—the United Nations’ specialized agency for civil aviation. Working in the Economic Regulatory Framework Section in the Air Transport Bureau, he delivers results mainly with respect to ICAO’s Strategic Objective - Economic Development of Air Transport and supports other agency objectives, as well. His specific responsibilities are: establishing policies and guidance on economic regulation, multimodal and intermodal transport (particularly digitalization) and economics of aviation activities; developing policies and guidance to facilitate access to funding for air cargo infrastructure and financing of air transport operations, particularly for air cargo and the broader supply chain; harmonizing air transport policy framework though cooperation amongst the aviation community and all aviation stakeholders; and monitoring regulatory and industry developments in international air transport.

Before coming to ICAO, Cortney had contributed to the advancement of international aviation first at the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and then at the Aerospace Industries Association, where he worked extensively with ICAO’s Air Navigation Bureau and the International Telecommunications Union on regulatory matters, including unmanned aircraft systems integration and a global framework for aviation infrastructure modernization.

Thomas Romig joined Airports Council International (ACI) in November 2020 as Vice President Safety, Security and Operations. He heads up all advocacy efforts and programmed areas related to airport operations – ranging from Airside Safety and Capacity through to Cargo, Facilitation and Security and across into Innovation and IT.

Prior to this, he held a number of senior leadership positions at Geneva Airport in Switzerland, both in Safety and then Operations where among his multiple functions he was in charge of the development of the Airport Operations Center, the day-to-day management of airport operations and all the master planning activities.

Over the years he has been strongly involved in ICAO and EASA regulatory activities as a representative of the airport’s community through ACI. He still very much involved in ICAO Regulatory affairs and developments and the nominated ACI Observer on the ICAO Air Navigation Commission.

After completing a master's degree at Wayne University, David Salerno gained experience particularly in inbound logistics with large consumer goods manufacturers. Since 2019, he has been working in Detroit for the German 4low as Director Managed Supply Chain Services.

Martin Schulze has been working in the software industry for more than 20 years. With a degree in computer science, he started as a software developer and architect before taking over responsibilities in business development and general management. From the beginning of his career Martin supported logistics companies around the world in their digitalization.

Today he is CEO of the German IT-companies BusinessCode and BlueBox Systems.

The start-up BlueBox Systems, founded in 2020, is revolutionizing supply chain visibility by providing transparency for Air-Freight Logistics. The demand for real-time visibility is constantly rising as a reaction to the increasing volatility in business. With the SaaS solution BlueBoxAir, shippers and forwarders now have the chance to track their air freight shipments globally and in real-time. The business intelligence provided by the system supports strategic decisions for future transportations.

Furthermore, the innovative Carbon Emission tracking integrated in BlueBoxAir is providing key information for the industries ambition to become more environmentally friendly.

Dr. Robert Schönberger studied at the Technical University of Darmstadt - with stays in Buenos Aires and Atlanta - and earned his doctorate under Prof. Hans-Christian Pfohl. After stations in Bremen, Frankfurt and Augsburg, the "logistics networker" has been responsible for the two clusters of the transport logistic & air cargo exhibitions and ceramitec trade shows at Messe München for 7 years.

Farzin Shadpour is an accomplished Global Supply Chain, Procurement, and Operations Executive with a successful career delivering mission-critical results in Technology, Biotech, Medical Device, and Aerospace industries for large and small organizations including the Boeing Co.
Offering executive "end to end" global supply chain experience (sourcing, contracting, supplier management, and manufacturing) Mr. Shadpour has produced profitable growth with a focus on efficiency and lowering of total life-cycle costs.
Internationally, Mr. Shadpour has worked for four years in Europe and Middle East on supplier recovery, by advising C-suite executives of some of the largest Aerospace companies in the world and becoming their trusted consultant.
Mr. Shadpour has designed Supply Chains from the ground up for new product introductions including for Boeing’s 737MAX, 777X, and 787-10.

Dr. Harald Sieke is head of department at Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics - Aviation Logistics. In this function, he is pushing the department processual and technological orientation forward, particularly in the areas of trends such as AI, AR, digitization and sustainability in aviation.
Dr. Sieke studied industrial engineering and management with a major in mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Darmstadt. In 2010 he received his doctoral degree in logistics from the Technical University of Dortmund. He has extensive experience in air traffic logistics and has been instrumental in the development and expansion of air cargo hubs.

Christos comes with experience from 4 continents, 8 nations, and 30 years within the global air cargo logistics industry. During his professional journey he was exposed to many different markets and cultures of conducting airfreight business.
He is specialized in various air cargo sectors including advanced air freight consolidation management, neutral airfreight wholesale, ULDs utilization and equalization, gateway planning, networking, global incentive management, and to effective selling & sourcing for the professional airfreight consolidator and forwarder.

He is the founder and CEO of Neutral Air Partner – a Hong Kong based global network of air cargo architects and aviation specialists, which consists of more than 300 airfreight partners in 150 countries.
Christos is also the founder and CEO of Aero Africa – an air cargo management group dedicated to providing African airfreight logistic solutions and neutral value-added services to the global logistics and aviation community.

Hans Thalbauer ist Managing Director, Global Supply Chain, Logistics & Transportation at Goolge. In this role he is responsible for the vision, mission and strategy for global supply chain, logistics and transportations business solutions across all industries. He is working closely with Google Cloud's supply chain logistics and transportation customers globally to help them solve their most pressing business problems through the power of cloud. Previously, he spent over 20 years at SAP in various roles, most recently as Senior Vice President, Industrial Transformation Initiatives. Mr. Thalbauer holds a Master's degree in Business Information System from the University of Vienna.

With over twenty years of leadership in sectors including Aviation, Entertainment, and Technology, Mammen Tharakan joined Edmonton International Airport as the Director, E-Commerce, Cargo & Aviation Real Estate. Together with a passionate & dedicated team, Mammen works with a strong customer mindset to retain Canada, and Edmonton’s positions in global supply chains. His duties include identifying new technologies and partnerships that support the community in responsible growth. Recognizing the crucial role that travel provides in connecting the world, he is committed to advancing the industry through collaboration and innovation. Mammen holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Hult International Business School in Boston, Massachusetts USA.

Steve Townes is the President & CEO (and Board director) of ACL Airshop, a global market leader in ULD equipment solutions and related logistics services for over 200 airlines, air cargo carriers, and other transportation clients with a steadily growing service footprint at 55 major airports on 6 continents. ACL Airshop is considered a one-stop shop with manufacturing, leasing, repairs, sales, and ULD fleet management & logistics capabilities.

Steve has 41 years’ experience in the aerospace, aviation, and defense industry segments, commencing in 1980 at the large conglomerate LTV Aerospace & Defense (Vought Aircraft). Prior to founding Ranger Aerospace in early 1997, he served as COO and CEO in turnarounds of three aerospace services firms such as Stevens Aviation (FBO chain). For the past 25 years as CEO, Townes led the acquisitions and growth of multiple companies including ASIG, Keystone Helicopter, Ranger International, and now ACL Airshop. His companies have employed thousands of people, with each completed venture showing accelerated growth, deep operational improvements, and superior financial results.

Sara Van Gelder joined the Nallian team in 2020 as Cargo Community Solution Manager. Since then, she is in charge of the product management of the different applications typically used by the Air Cargo stakeholders. Before joining Nallian, she was Digital Development Manager in the Cargo & Logistics team of Brussels Airport. She graduated in 2013 from the KULeuven as a Commercial Engineer with a Master‘s in Logistics and International Business. She started her professional career in the Contract Logistic department of Kuehne+Nagel as Project Coordinator, where she coordinated multiple continuous improvement projects. Later, via her role as Project Manager of Sky Fresh, she was introduced to the air cargo industry, working on traceability and digitization of quality control for time and temperature sensitive goods. In 2017 she obtained a Postgraduate in Big Data & Analytics.

As part of Amsterdam Airport Schiphol’s Management Team within Airport Operations and Aviation Partnerships, Anne Marie van Hemert is responsible for three divisions that play a tangable role in maintaining and developing Schiphol's network and connectivity of the Airport. In short, it’s up to Anne Marie and her team to keep Airlines, Cargo Partners and Handlers satisfied at Schiphol.
Anne Marie has built a rich understanding about the world of aviation and cargo based on several different management roles within Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (since 2008). And prior experience at easyJet as Regional Airport Manager (2001-20080).

In her free time Anne Marie enjoys preparing for and actually running marathons, preferabelly on all continents of the world. And of course, she enjoys foods and wine, and spending time with her family & friends and…travelling!

Manuel Wehner is Senior Project Manager and Researcher at the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics (IML) in Germany, focusing on the development of smart cargo transport solutions for airport infrastructure.
Being an autonomous driving enthusiast, he coordinated various vehicle automatization tests during his time working at Fraport, the operator of Frankfurt Int’l Airport. Most recently, he was Co-Founder and Managing Director of the Institute for Aviation and Tourism (IAT) at Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences.

Michael White is the Founder and President of Trade Network Consultants LLC. He is a proven leader in the air transport industries efforts to improve air cargo security, e-commerce growth, IT development, industry advocacy and operational excellence. He leads a team of industry experts in customs, security, aviation, logistics and process improvement issues.

He has also held several senior management positions including Manager of Cargo Services-Worldwide for United Airlines, Regional VP for Cargo Service Center, Managing Director of Cargo for the Air Transport Association, COO of SkyLink USA and most recently President of Cargo Network Services (An IATA Company). His unique experience has covered the air cargo supply chain with leading positions at airline airport and global air cargo operations, leading the largest ground handling operation at Chicago-O’Hare, representing the air transport industry over security issues after 9-11 and head of the largest country air cargo payment system in the world.

Michael has served on several key government and industry committees and working groups on air cargo security, member of the TSA Aviation Security Advisory Committee air cargo working group, IATA cargo customs/security groups and the US-Canadian Cross Border Harmonization task force. He served two terms as a member of the Commercial Customs Operations Advisory Committee (COAC) for US Customs and Border Protection by appointment from the Secretaries of the US Department of Homeland Security and US Department of the Treasury.

Zeke’s team deploys artificial intelligence solutions that enable smarter selling decisions for leading freight operators to maximize the value of their customer interactions in the digital economy through price optimization, revenue management, and real-time, personalized quoting technologies.
