Cortney Robinson is a senior official at the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO)—the United Nations’ specialized agency for civil aviation. Working in the Economic Regulatory Framework Section in the Air Transport Bureau, he delivers results mainly with respect to ICAO’s Strategic Objective - Economic Development of Air Transport and supports other agency objectives, as well. His specific responsibilities are: establishing policies and guidance on economic regulation, multimodal and intermodal transport (particularly digitalization) and economics of aviation activities; developing policies and guidance to facilitate access to funding for air cargo infrastructure and financing of air transport operations, particularly for air cargo and the broader supply chain; harmonizing air transport policy framework though cooperation amongst the aviation community and all aviation stakeholders; and monitoring regulatory and industry developments in international air transport.
